The school supports the scheme sponsored by Manchester Airport -the airport attendance scheme. Children who go the whole term without an absence receive a certificate, and thoses with 100% attendance for the year receive a trip to a party on the corncorde stationed at Manchester airport.

This is just one of the incentives we have in place to encourage full attendance at school by every pupil. Research shows us that children need to be in school on time, ready to learn and present every day in order to get the best possible results from their education. Absences from school can be linked directly to poor performance later in tests of learning.
We ask parents to support this by not taking children on holiday in term time, or removing them for any reason that can be avoided.
